The OCAJP 8 and OCPJP 8 are Java programmer certification offered by Oracle University. There is lot of difference between two certifications. First of level, both the exams are totally different and they cover the different objectives. OCAJP 8 considered as simple and basic exam where as OCPJP 8 is little tougher than the OCAJP 8 exam.

Prerequisite: OCAJP 8 don’t have any prerequisite whereas OCPJP 8 has the prerequisite of OCAJP 8.

Select OCAJP 8 Certification exam, This exam itself quite old and now most of the Java projects are written on Java 8. It is more advantage for you to have latest Java certification instead of having the old technology. If you are the beginner who worries about the learning of new concepts like Lambda expression, It is recommended that this preparation would take only few more hours. Still you will be able to crack the OCAJP 8 exam.
